is mentioning in all of these tragic shootings, including the law office in san francisco, they were all gone- free calzones. -- gun-free kill zones. the gun is not the common denominator, but these allow any madman or criminal with any kind of fire arm to come in and shoot as many law-abiding americans as he can. this proves not that the gun is the problem but that gun-control itself is a failure because there is no stronger form of gun control than to say no one is allowed to have a gun at all. otherhat's exactly the common denominator for all of these tragic occurrences. not one person in the mainstream media has pointed it out to their viewers because it does not sit with their anti-bond big it should -- anti-gun bigotted nature. it is being marketed shamelessly in the mainstream media. i swear these people are trying to introduce a new form of bigotry and to american culture. gun-control is the new racism. cnn in particular should be ashamed of itself for what it has done this week on trying to manipulate and inflame the prejudices against guns and gun owners. it's despicable and it's a

, but we're seeing similar delays in places like omaha, tulsa, san francisco, salt lake city also experiencing some major delays because of those weather systems out west. the national weather service issuing winter storm warnings for states like oklahoma and arkansas as well as the southeast which is bracing for severe weather as well. a lot of travelers or we spoke with this morning said they planned very early travel plans in hope os of dodging the later delays we may see later on especially as those storms continue to develop not only in the pacific northwest, but also in the southeast. but conditions are deteriorating here, we're seeing a lot of people saying that they're waiting on the tarmac for up to an hour before their flights take off. that being said, as long as they're home for christmas, a lot of them say they're very, very happy. and one thing i do want to mention, heather, is that we are expecting some serious weather after christmas, so people are already planning for those delays, and they say if you're in that area that's going to get hit, be aware, be prepared.

is in san francisco because of some weather moving there. otherwise throughout the countritis looking pretty good. it's been pretty painless at major airports throughout the weekend. that is despite some high winds yesterday in the northeast which caused minor headaches over there. drivers across the country have been dealing with snow and ice in some parts of the country. but after thursday and friday, miserable weather there. prompted more than 1,600 cancellations throughout the country. this weekend has been a welcome relief for many of these travelers. what we'll need to watch is over the week ahead there will be a storm right now in the west coast and moving east. that will cause many disruptions across the country for many travelers and it's something they'll be watching. again right now, things are looking pretty good at the airport. back to you, alex. >> i'm sure that's music to many people's ears. thank you very much, gabe gutierrez. >>> straight ahead, the big three on the fiscal fight. does house speaker boehner have any more negotiating room with the president? a restaurant is ,
